March 2026
Welcome to the March edition of BackChat! Is it just us, or does it feel like theres a wee shift in the season. - Spring incoming! At least it's stopped raining so much!

We thought with the sun poking through this afternoon it might be helpful to put up our favourite tips for back care in the garden.
It can be a bit of a physical struggle getting back out after having the winter off.
As ever we're here to help if you do overdo it in the veg patch, or for any other aches and pains.

Results of the Chiropractic Practice Assessment Questionnaire (CPAQ)

We'd like to take a moment to go through some of the information we had through from the recent questionnaire sent out to patients. We send an annual questionnaire through the Royal College of Chiropractors. They receive all of the answers and anonymously send us back the results. It's a really great way for us to know how we as a clinic are getting on and what we can look at to improve the quality of care and the experience you have at the clinic.

The results have been really super and the whole team have been thrilled with the feedback. Some highlights are that 98% of those who responded said the way you are treated by the receptionists at your clinic was very good or excellent. Also that 80% of patient have to wait 5 minutes or less to be seen for their appointment with 100% of respondents reporting being seen within ten minutes. We've included a graph below of some of the results back from chiropractic appointments.

While the results have been great we are mindful that there is always some room for reflection or improvement. While 90% of respondents reported that they felt our opening hours were excellent or very good there have been a few suggestions of increasing evening and weekend provision which we'll look into. With the cost of living we are mindful of keeping our pricing competitive and regularly review the fees of other Edinburgh clinics as well as keeping care at a reasonable level for patients.

Overall, we've been really thrilled with the feedback and we thank you for your continued support of our wee clinic. We'll formally repeat the CPAQ next year, however if you ever have any feedback before this please chat to a member of the team.

Thanks so much,

Georgie.

App Updates

There's been an update with our clinic app to allow direct messaging to us. These come straight to our diary and to the clinic email so we might not pick them up straightaway. It's an easier way to contact us for those using the app. Don't worry, we won't be getting rid of our front desk team - they'll still be available over the phone or by email.
If this new update has whetted your appetite to give the app a try you can download it from your usual place for free by searching Corstorphine Chiro. I've popped QR codes below (they're linked to the sites too if you click on the pictures.
