All treatment, no tricks! - It's starting to look a bit spooky
Corstorphine Chiropractic
October 2025
Welcome to the October edition of BackChat! There's no disguising it's time for guising! There's a wee chill in the air. We've had a few patients in who are feeling their aches and pains a bit more as the nights draw in too. 🎃🐈‍⬛
Spooky Spine Care

As Halloween approaches, we think of spooky costumes, haunted houses, and of course some sweets treats. While you’re enjoying spooky season, don’t forget your spine deserves attention too! After all, you don’t want to feel like a ghost of your former self 👻

Here are some fang-tastic spine tips to keep you feeling good this Halloween.

Pumpkin carving posture - When you’re busy carving your pumpkin masterpieces, don’t forget to take regular breaks. Try and maintain a neutral position and add in some gentle stretches such as a wall angel exercise, and you’re good to go!

Picking up your little monsters - Always remember to utilise your legs when lifting, not just your back! .

Spinal care is no Trick - it’s a treat! Chiropractic care is a great way to ensure your health all year round. Take some time to rest and recuperate and prioritise your health this Halloween.

Chiropractic For Families
Did you know we don't just treat adults? Chiropractic is safe and effective for a number of complaints for patients of all ages, including those with special circumstances such as during pregnancy. The clinic is also child friendly - If childcare is ever an issue you can bring your wee ones along to your appointment.
Revamp
We've given the equipment boxes in the front treatment room a much needed wee revamp.

Can you spot the little chiropractic twist?!

They may appear seasonal, but for a chiropractic clinic, skeletons are for life, not just for Halloween!
West Edinburgh Community Support Project

Tommy from the West Edinburgh Community Support Group was in the other day to collect the kind donations we've had in at the clinic. We plan to continue to collect non perishable donations for them for the foreseeable future as their demand is still so high. The families who are helped by the WECSP are all referred to them by local schools or church groups.
Please pop any donations you have in at the box in reception. Thank you.
